The german accent of "Doktor" is actually pretty convincing and it makes him sound smart.

However the accent of Boris is so fake... As you see in most movies these days. They try to throw in some Russian words which sound completely off.. Couldn't they just hire a native Russian speaker and recorded that?

And then George, who sounds like he is a 25yo but looks like an 8yo... lol like WTF ?

Still good game though.

Boris just sounds like an immigrant who's been in the states for 20 years and hasn't actually spoken Russian in that amount of time either. =P

LoL, then why bother putting in the occasional: Da, Tavarish and swear words? By the by if after 20 years of america you still have that thick of an accent there is something wrong with those brainz.

And doooon't gat me sta-ted on Jorge, maaan... Dat kid is laik 30year old.

Wrongly pronounced swear words, no less. These are supposed to be freaking intuitive.

George is just plain offensive. I've watched his scenes once, never again. Would have loved it if they actually got an young actor from those parts to give a legit performance, but what we've ended up with is just... completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Amplify how wrong Boris sounds by a factor of a thousand and combine this with an actor who's at least 20 years older than the character and it almost sums up how bad he is.

He sounds nothing like that in the Japanese voice over though, in fact he's not irritating or offensive at all.

Although Fiif has a point, maybe we're overestimating the amount of effort that was put into this games voices and story. I just cannot imagine someone looking at George's cut scene and going THATS AWESOME SHIP IT!

Another thing I noticed is after the Monsoon fight, Raiden suddenly seems to have some wilde mood swings. He will sound extremely angry and agitated in one codec conversation and completely relaxed and laid back in another. Not sure if this is the intent.

No, George is not offensive. If it was offensive, the game would be acting like his accent was a normal thing. It's not, and the game knows it. It's a silly joke, one that's aware of how ridiculous it is. As such, the only people who should get offended are those that have no sense of humor. It also helps that George is actually relatively intelligent, given the choice he makes in the game. The only negative he's got is the accent.

So, yeah, take that.
