Unable to Start

I download the game and tried to run it, but despite giving me 1 minute playtime it did nothing. In the taskmanager there wasn't even a process. After launching metal gear through its EXE it showed a error about a XINPUT1_3.DLL file missing. After reinstall the error still occured. Hoping to fix this problem I downloaded the DLL file manually and installed it, but that did not fix it.. Now it says [ERROR 0x000007b] and just closes. I really need help, reply please!

XINPUT1_3.DLL is a file related to controllers. Perhaps uninstalling the game and controller drivers and first reinstalling the game to see if it runs could be a solution. After that, I'd install the XInput drivers and see if it screws things up again. If it does, I'd advice to get a different controller. Perhaps a 360 gamepad would do the trick.

How can a Controller file screw up my intire game?? :( It does not even start! The game is playable without controller so why would it not start without one? I don't get it...

Good question. My game was broken for months because I accidently had the movie folder twice.

UPDATE: I still have the 0xc000007b error... but on all my games.
I only installed Metal Gear on this new PC and though it was a game related problem, but after installing other games through steam I figured out that the error appears on all my steam games! I allready tried everything: Reinstalling all graphic related software (DirectX, NET framework,Silverlight etc.) and even running many diagnose programms on my new pc: NOTHING.... There is still that retarded0xc000007b ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. BUT SOMEHOW ALL OTHER GAMES RUN PERFECT: Starcraft 2, Hearthstone, Diablo, Osu and even those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sims games... Does anybody know how to fix this without hardreseting my pc?

Just google 0xc000007b and there should be a list of stuff you can do to try to fix it.

Thats the point: I tried it ALL... Installing and updating variouse programms,replacing DLL files...don't tell me to google it, do you think I did not try?

had the same problem with other games when i upgraded fron 7 to win 10 . Sorry to say that i needed a fresh install of 10 cause the upgrade F@@@@@ the windows . after the clean 10 install all is smooth .

Okay I overcame my hate towards windows 10 and installed it... MGRR is downloading now.. I hope that the update to w10 fixed it.. thanks for all the answers so far! \ /
