- Precision machine actually requires you to sever off 30 of each bodypart (head, both arms, both legs). Easiest way is to check your stats on a certain difficulty after a run is complete, make note of how much you need of each and go to 07 to farm them (kill enemies, save, restart, hammer guys don't count for legs)
- Lightning Speed requires normal+ run, even though it doesn't state it. Ran into the same problem as well
- For the "speedrun" titles (within a certain amount of hours, no dying), I suggest doing a speedrun and a second run where you do all S. While an all S run within the timelimit is technically possible, the game tracks your titles independently, meaning you don't have to do them all in one run
Also I hope you've done "naked and unloved" before doing S-rank runs, as the only way to do it after getting a HP/FC upgrade is to start a new game (not a save file, mind you) which wipes all of your customization progression & rankings.
Side note: I've been thinking of making a mega guide for all collectibles/combat sections to have a guide on steam but will have to see if I can muster the motivation to make it
I got my S ranks and Lightning Speed at the same time actually. Probably on the normal difficulty run.
Ha I've considered making a guide as well but never found the time and motivation, either. I think better guides for the DLC wouldn't be amiss as well. I'm finding Blade Wolf's VR04 really hard to S-rank on Easy because it seems set up to make it easy to beat but not easy to S-rank, whilst I remember S-ranking it without major trouble on either VH or Revengeance (I think the VR missions are fixed at Revengeance settings for both difficulties anyway).
