stuck on monsoon

once i get him below 50 he gets me in a stunlock and burns through my healing items and when i try to parry him it doesn't connect

When Monsoon is glowing purple, you have to perfect parry an attack, or hit him with an EM Grenade. While he's stunned, you'll get a Blade Mode prompt.

Blade Mode cutting the vehicles he throws will usually yield Repair Nanopastes or EM Grenades if you're getting low on either (though this gets way harder to do the more he throws at you).

BD Mistral and BD Monsoon are honestly pretty tame. They have extremely low health compared to the real thing (IIRC it's 3/8 HP for the clones?) and don't have some of the more annoying parts of the actual fights. In Mistral's case, none of the explosive barrels or the segment on the pipe, and for Monsoon, you aren't getting vehicles thrown at you every 30 seconds.

You'll still have to deal with BD Monsoon's flurry attacks, but those are fairly manageable.

Monsoon is basically a test to see if you REALLY learned the basics of the game. I remember that it took 2 tries of 40 minutes each for me to beat him.

You really need to parry him a lot to win this fight

Only like a 1/5 chance or less seemingly.
