I haven't tried both myself, but I feel like a controller is more natural. The game is still completely playable with mouse and keyboard so I wouldn't worry TOO much, but some of the default controls are awkward with mouse and keyboard and you'll probably want to rebind a few things. The most common rebind is switching blade mode with ninja run, since by default, blade mode is shift and run is on control.

I played this game on PS3 initially and then got it on steam, i switch between controller and KnM, it's whatever feels natural

Ok, so after playing a bit more, I'd highly recommend controller. It's not super bad to play as Raiden, but in the Sam DLC it's much better to be dodging instead of parrying everything. Especially on the higher difficulties. Problem is, no matter what you rebind dodge to, unless it's an extra mouse button or something, it'll probably be very difficult to press the direction you want to dodge in and the dodge button at the same time on mouse/keyboard.

Let's say you bind the dodge key to R. It's now very difficult to dodge to the right unless you are pressing "D" with your middle finger.

I use a controller. I tried keyboard and mouse, but is it just me or switching enemies with the lock-on feature using a mouse way too sensitive?
