Steam > Library > Metal Gear Rising Revengeance > Right Click > Proprieties > Advanced > Launch Options > Type "-windowed" without quotation marks
After that, make sure to change the game resolution before going in fullscreen again.
If the game doesn't launch even with -windowed, try using "-w 1920" always without quotation marks as launch command.
peep this
It's very rare that lack of CPU power causes these kind of problems, and if the case, it should cause problems to EVERY game you play similar to this one.
Try Checking the Integrity of Files, in case something is corrupted in the dowload process:
Steam > Library > Metal Gear Rising Revengeance > Right Click > Local Files > Check Integrity of Files
Try updating your graphics card aswell, and if nothing works, try to reinstall it again by deleting the entire game folder in the Local Files:
Steam > Library > Metal Gear Rising Revengeance > Right Click > Local Files > Explore Local Files
If, again, nothing works, check this discussion here:

Maybe it will eventually help you.
I have already checked the integrity of the files three times. The first time everything was fine, and the second time (when I turned off the antivirus) 93 bad files were found and an update of 23 gigabytes began. This was the second reinstall. But even after that, the problem was not solved. And I have already updated the video card.
If you didn't, try doing what I suggested you regarding the clean reinstall. And if it does not work either, check the discussion I suggested you.
My game doesn't crash after a couple of seconds. It just stays in the window with a white screen. But steam counts the game time. The problem is clearly in the screen resolution.
You can try the command "-safe" which is EVEN more downgraded, but I don't know if it works.
