Second: try to use a battery before he throws you a rock.
Third: you have to ATLEAST slice 3 of the 4 squares to destroy the rock.
And yes, ♥♥♥♥ that lift part. I feel you bud.
But yeah, I just got gud and saved up my blue energy meter for that one part.
Also for everyone else reading this, you can evade the rocks by sprinting to the side, you will however get 4 healing packs and deal like 25% damage to Armstrong if you manage to execute the rock-throw QTE, so if you manage to pull it off once you've basically already won the fight.
You can do the thing you said with Monsoon too.
If you want to play the game on harder difficulties, with no damage, it will be useful!
Wait till you get in the unskippable roll credits
Every time-slowed QTE works like this, you get one opportunity to freeze time and if you miss it, you don't get to try again. If you press it for just a second you can't reinitiate it.
