Konami Code Impossible to do

Hey, I'm playing MGRR on a keyboard only. I've been reading around on how to unlock Revengeance mode and it only seems possible using the Konami code. Is there any work-arounds for this? I don't have a controller and I'm not finding any other solutions.

Well no, is not ONLY possbile with the Konami code.
Once you beat Very Hard, the Revengeance Difficulty is unlocked.

Back then I beated it and got Revengeance with no problem. I don't want to say something that might be wrong, but maybe you need an S rank for, every, chapter?
This game is weird in terms of "unlocking stuff".

Check the guide that jack the ripper (lol) suggested before wasting hours trying to copy what i did.

I beat Very Hard, but I don't believe I S ranked every single chapter. Maybe that is it. Could there be any other possible reasons for Revengance not being unlocked?

You don't need to S rank every single chapter, but I had the same problem, unlocked Very Hard without problem, but when I couldn't unlock Revengeance by missions, I just emulated a controller using my phone as described in my guide and I successfully unlocked Revengeance mode and boss fights only.

I definitely got revengeance without the konami code, without S ranking. Make sure every chapter (including both DLCs and prologue) has a saved score for very hard

Yep, that's how you are supposed to get the Revengeance mode, but game is glitched to hell unfortunately

No once you beat it on very hard it should unlock

Yes, but as I already mentiones, as this game is already glitched to hell, sometimes that doesn't happen. I've completed it on Very Hard once, got no sign of Revengeance mode, then gave up and used Konami code.

Have you tried beating it on multiple difficulties? I beat it on normal, then very hard

Yep, I didn't even unlocked only boss battles from chapter select. Tried it on easy, hard, and then very hard, no revengeance difficulty appeared. No surprise, watching the amount of nerves I lost beating Monsoon and not getting No Damage once he literally did no damage to me.
