Senator Armstrong Rock Throw Zandatsu

So I'm fighting Armstrong right now and I always die when he starts throwing giant rocks at me. No matter how hard I try, I can't slice the rocks. I don't how matter slices you need but the furthest I got was the first slice. Can any pros help me out here?

You need to slice them at a certain angle. Basically you need to hit all the red squares with one slice for each.

You may also have that glitch where they are too damn close to see.

slowly move the camera vertically and horisontally to reach the right point.

Personally I find it harder to do it with a controller than with a mouse.

also, seriously, just take ur time with your attack, if you rush it, you are going to be less accurate, hope that helps cuz it certainly helped me

If you keep having trouble with the rocks, you can actually just run up towards him and not have to cut any of the rocks. He'll jump back down, you can get a few hits in, and he might jump back up unless you get him to a certain health %.

You can control slice angle with right stick and aim slice with the left one (or it's vice versa idr). Use VR missions to train.

Pay attention to your FC level. If it runs out, you will exit blade mode and get hit. Each successful cut will partially refill it, but you still have to be quick.

I'm guessing this is your first playthrough so you're stuck with the unupgraded murasama, which eats through FC super fast. Make sure you have all FC upgrades and use the blue/yellow costume if you've unlocked it. Also, you can equip the electrolyte packs to automatically refill when you run out.

Also, you dont have to hit all four squares, you only need three.

Edit: I'm stupid, only the yellow costume reduces fc usage, and electrolyte packs dont work automatically. So you have to git gud
