LQ-84i vs Me (JetStream Sam)

so i'm stuck. i'm in the sewers on the new dlc, (as sam) and i keep getting killed by IF prototype LQ-84i (a.k.a. Blade Wolf). how does one defeat him?

You need to parry well, of course but also use the move that is a thrust. Else you will never close the distance as much as you should.

I hope that this information will be useful for you and at the moment relevant.

The wolf gives a light, even on the lowest difficulty. Sam's slowness is more important here. For it would not have been difficult to defeat him for Raiden. Here's what I can say after passing it on the complexity of "very hard".

- Parry his lunge. ( But be careful during combos. Counterattack it is very difficult and the loss of health will be great ).

- It doesn't make sense to parry an attack with your tail. The boss will evade your counterattack.

- Use attacks, after dodging which you will have a window for charging powerful attacks. If you are on the gamepad, then a jerk with a lunge will do, hold Y. But be careful, the boss may come to himself much earlier.


- Be alert to jerks. If you evaded the jerk, the boss can make another one right away. This can be repeated up to 4 times.

- Do not run at him when he throws the blade, after 1-2 times, he will attack you. Just Dodge.

- If the boss left abruptly to the side or jumped on the wall, get ready to put the block.

you took your time adn thought it out! you gave awesome information. i just have one question. i'm on xbox 360 so how do i parry?

Sure. On all platforms, the block and parry are identical. Weak attack button + stick towards the enemy's attack. But a counterattack is a difficult thing. It is made if you block the enemy's attack at the very last moment.
