Btw, on the PS3, parrying is probaly done the same way it is for the XBox 360. For you, that would be pushing and holding the left stick towards an attacking enemy, and then pressing the Square button at the right time.
I know about these flashes of light, yellow being unblockable and usually resulting in an QTE at some enemies, etc.
Well, PS3 is kinda different, it has to be at the exact same time you press the left stick sometimes.

This thread is kinda old, i have beat the game already and im now trying to finish this game on Very Hard...
Yeah, i learned how to use Defensive Offense during MG Excelsus and Armstrong fight ( because it pretty much forces you to ) Its an pretty useful move.
