Ultrawide fix

Man, I spent a good hour trying to get this game to run in 3440X1440 resolution. Flawless widescreen kind of worked, but the HUD was a complete mess. Then I stumbled upon another program that patches the executable. I'll try to put good instructions here.

1. Make sure your game is fullscreen, not windowed.
2. Install Flawless Widescreen [www.flawlesswidescreen.org]
3. Pick the game and enable it and all the check marks besides "Resolution Rewrite." This will turn your HUD into garbage. I also have "HUD Scale" unchecked because I see no difference.
4. Download MGROverride. [community.pcgamingwiki.com]
5. You will need to extract it anywhere and open it.
6.When you run it, you pick the resolution you want and then target the executable found in your steam library [Example C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE\METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE.exe]
7. Click Patch in the MGROverride program.

You should be good to go. I think you need to leave Flawless Widescreen running in the background. If you ever check those two things I said not to check, you'll ned to run MGROverride again.

For some reason for me it won't do it because it acts like the game executable is already in use... Did anyone else have this issue?

Works only in windowed for me, same 3440x1440. Also says here to choose 800x600 on every launch:

Just replying in this thread to confirm that following the steps outlined in this guide made fullscreen work on my machine, with a 2550*1440p resolution. No HUD issues, everything works perfectly. Also, this fix doesn't work with pirated versions of the game for those who were wondering.
