"neither did i complete it " where did you got?
thank you anyway
How much trouble you have will depend on how well you can learn the mechanics of the game.
Some people never learn how to parry properly, so they get stuck on the second boss.
Others don't know there is a dodge move you can buy, so they unintentional make they game harder then it needs to be.
And others never learn how to angle blade mode properly, even though there is a whole boss for teaching you how to do this.
I find on normal and easy mode it's pretty reasonable, hard isn't too bad. Then Very Hard starts ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with enemy configurations and generally kicking your ♥♥♥♥ in if you're not ready for it.
The camera angle can be a pain as well.
I made it all the way to chapter 6 barely knowing how to parry at all.
Jumping around and attacking worked really fine on Hard difficulty at first time playthrough.
If Revengeance was an option at the start, then I'd learn parry right at the first chapter.
But then again, it's good to unlock difficulty modes so that you can learn how they each differ from each other and also to not let just about anybody try it out without a few basics down the alley. I did know how to parry but didn't use it that much until I reached the last chapter, so there barely was any pressure to use it, even then I used it very rarely.
You'll manage really well with parrying on all difficulty modes. Without it, you gotta prepare to jump around a whole lot with a few healing items here and there.
I'd say you can just jump in there and have a blast!
Do Hard difficulty right at the start, it hits the spot.
You'll get the learning curve on your way to unlock Revengeance difficulty.
Revengeance difficulty is really fun, that's where you can taste your reward!
If you want me to, I can stream for a while, that way you can see for yourself :)
also i havent played any of games you mentioned
Still, it depends all and all on your own will to learn the game.
If you spend right about an hour or two only on tutorials, controls and the HELP menu -
You'll be climbing to the highest difficulty mode in 'no time'!
The HELP menu shows all your skill moves for your current weapon, all good.
Even without tutorials, can you complete the game on Hard difficulty on first playthrough with a few chokes (If you skip parry/dodge guides).
You can also upgrade your stuff. Skip tutorials and you might find health/power/armor and weapon upgrades useful. But if you do a few tutorials, you'll only need skill moves for ultimate devastation!
why are you asking?
Probably to have more things to compare to.
