Hey everyone!

We have another hotfix to the "Guiding Light" update (v1.0.3) to clean up some additional issues found by players. Thanks for your patience!

Version 1.0.3 – Hotfix 3

Bug Fixes

Fixed a crash that could occur when starting a new game with sound effect volume set to zero.
Fixed several inconsistencies where sound effect volume was not correctly respecting player settings.

Achievements

Improved the conditions for unlocking the first achievement so it will trigger more reliably for older save files returning to the game.

Uses for hope seeds

I cannot figure out the final use for hope seeds. It is the only outfit I'm missing. It is driving me mad. So far I have: Opening caches campfire fuel planting on fertile spots I have tried: dying in girl form while holding one Running out of willpower (with and without wisps) using it on wood, fiber, torches, bed trying to cleanse corrupted parts of the forest (by using it on the spawner itself, using it on the POI that had been vined, leaving it on the infected ground) What could I be missing?...

Version 1.0.3 – Hotfix 2

Gameplay

Updated the Dusk Treader outfit unlock requirements to reduce confusion.
Balance: To match other difficulty scaling in the epilogue, fully evolved Vine Nests now gain additional maximum HP each day.

Progression

Steam achievements will now retroactively unlock when loading save files created before v1.0, if their requirements have already been met.

Fixes

Fixed an epilogue dialogue issue that could cause unintended dialogue to play.
Fixed a crash in the epilogue related to a boss spawn event.

Hey everyone!
This is a quick hotfix to the "Guiding Light" update (v1.0.3) to clean up some additional issues in the Epilogue. Thanks for your patience!

Version 1.0.3 – Hotfix

Fixed a few crashes in the Epilogue related to dawn events triggering multiple times.
Fixed a visual issue where some vines were not clearing correctly in the Epilogue.
Corrected a small visual error in an Epilogue-specific vine art asset.
Resolved a glitch that caused the Ch2 boss’s shield to render out of position.

Developer's Note:Since this release, one more crash has been found in the Epilogue.
We are working on a fix and will get it out as quickly as possible.

Possible Bug - Last fear fragment doesn't show up after Epilogue

After beating the game, the last fear fragment doesn't show up anywhere in the dream world, making it impossible to get all the outfits. Is there any way to fix this?

Journal

So, I can't interact with the journal. I try to, but Ember just gets stuck in a walking animation, unable to reach the journal. It's like something is in the way. I've had inconsistent results across numerous attempts. Most of the time, it doesn't work. Thankfully I can back out of the animation whenever I try, but more often than not I can't activate the journal. Every once in a while, it will work properly, but this is still the exception and not the rule....

Steam achievements for demo progrees

Like that I got to keep my progress from the demo; always a fan of that. However, stem achievements appear to be tied to the act of unlocking outfits, so I did not get credit for any outfits I already had. Is there a way to fix this without having to play the first hour of the game again?...

this recent popped up on my discovery queue and i was tempted to buy especially with the sale going on but i instantly noticed the capsule and some of the banner art. To be frank its look like genAI and i want to know so if i should support or not.
