What I ultimately did was took the following 3 files from my Laptop (on the right side) System32 and SysWOW64 folders and copied them over to my Desktop (on the left side) System32 and SysWOW64 folders:
http://puu.sh/76vGa.png
msvcp100.dll
msvcr100.dll
msvcr100_clr0400.dll
I would point out that the file sizes between the System32 and SysWOW64 versions of the files are not the same so make sure to put the appropriate ones in the appropriate folder. This worked for me, your mileage may vary.
If you do not have another computer handy that is working as I did, you might be able to delete the above files from System32 and SysWOW64 (making backups first) then run both x86 and x64 vcredist files located in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Strider\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010
(or wherever your steam is installed). Choose Remove then run them again to get them to reinstall the files. Just offering this as a tip in case you don't want to download the DLLs from a 3rd party web site. I have confirmed that the above steps will reinstall the files and allowed the game to run. It seems the game uses both the System32 and SysWOW64 versions of these files.
As you can see im new to this method so i could have made mistakes or made it harder for you guys. Read ther the others peoples comments it may be easier.
Oh i should mention, this all started after i installed MKX. The game installed something that bricked half my software titles. Been looking or a fix for months but nothing, ive tried every step you can google....
