Notes:
**Sometimes you have to try different modes [XP (Servicepack3);Win 7; etc.] just give it a try and be pacient.

Poker Night 2 is also located here : http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Telltale_Games%27_Poker_Night_2#Changing_compatibility

If this error shows up : MSVCP100.dll is not working/missing download this : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

It usually helps with other games too. (If it will ever happen again)

Still crashes on Windows 8, even after the compatibility changes.

It's kinda tricky with win 8 try Win XP service pack 3 or Win 7 as Comp. mode (sometimes you have to try other modes)

Update:
- You have to try different comp. modes (find the one which is working with your system)

I've tried literally every single compatibillaty option I have. NONE of them worked!

I should point out I'm using a laptop. Is that a problem?

Well now what do I do? I've tried every compatible mode, even on no-compatibility, I'm an admin on my computer, and I still can't play! The farthest I can get is "click anywhere to begin", "connecting", and "loading".

Apparently it doesnt work for some people I dunno why, it worked for me and a few friends but i have a theory there was a update today try to restart steam and check for errors then try some of the modes again if it still crashes ... well guess you have to wait for the patch:/

I've looked in another forum, and apparently a guy who's using the same graphics card as me, Intel(R) HD Graphics, can't run it either. I assume it's the graphics card that's the problem.
Problem? Apr 27, 2013 @ 5:12pm
so basically if we have Intel HD graphics, then we just wasted $5?
