That is actually how they deal in the poker rooms in Atlantic City now. I was down there playing Hold 'Em last year and the dealers put the crads into a hatch that opens in the table, they dissappeared and reappeared "shuffled."

What annoys me the most is I can't ask for a wash anymore.....I hate that!!

You only had to plug him into the system AFTER he removed himself from the rail... think of the first 10 minutes of the game... he controlled the room you were in as it crashed through the map! Where was Chell required there?!


Why could he not be on a rail above the poker table?

Furthermore, since when does a Portal character have to conform to reality and physics?

A game has to make sense otherwise the audience will be confused. If they played Portal 2 and completed it then saw Wheatly back they would be confused because Wheatly is supposed to be in space. To get Wheatly back you would have to make a backstory on how he gets back and how he gets to playing a "friendly" game of poker alongside Glad0s.

Not to mention TellTale would have to pay Valve for using another character of theirs so that's why they only used 1 character from Valve in the last Poker Night (The Heavy Weapons Guy) and 1 guy from Penny Arcade. (Strongbad I dont know but Max was TellTale's anyway.

Why not have the version of him in the second half of the game, where he is in the system?

This was actualy one of my first ideas. Then I remember Wheatly is in *spoilers* and Glados is evil. Then I saw the end of the unlocks tralier, and though "Oooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh. That's why shes here."

The use of glados over wheatley was the best decision to be made. You don't want a dealer who is cheerful/likeable, instead you need someone you can hate for giving you ♥♥♥♥ cards and then insult you about your weight.

I laughed my @ss Off When I first heard GLaDOS calling chell fat, I couldnt stop laughing. Wheatly Should replace clap trap, Or should just be a random appearance.
