But thanks for posting this. I was thinking about buying this game but now I'm not going to. I love poker but I hate cruddy games that give the AI the ability to cheat or just randomly get super lucky almost every hand.
If the game is a bit rigged, it isn'nt acceptable. I didn't buy a game to get cheated, but I also didn't buy it to win really easily either. I bought it to have fun, and regularly losing hands that statistically shouldn't happen at all, isn't fun.
And if things don't go your way... alt+f4 is your friend, haha.
For example, I've had times when I've been trying my hardest and applying all my poker skills. And lost miserably. Two tourneys in a row. Then there are times like tonight. It's after 1:30am, I just finished a trouney that lasted only about a half hour. I'm sleepy and a bit drunk. I even nodded off in the middle of the tourney. And I busted Brock out the first hand, Ash in the fourth or fifth, Sam around the tenth and Claptrap only lasted another four hads or so. If the game were rigged against me, there's no way I should have won.
BUt if all else fails, remember the alt+F4 advice from Rory and several others on these boards. I've had to use that a few tiems when I've gone all in. But I think you have to do it before GLaDOS announces the winner of the hand.
Then when I'm rather low on money I got a pair of Ace right away and I just raised a bit and EVERYONE folded. As if they knew I had something that could beat them. You could probably try to raise a bad hand and see what happens. Doubt they'll fold. Even Ash who will almost always go full in or raise fold when I got those two aces.
I wish it was just fully random because right now it doesn't look like that.
