I think this proves a big problem with "abandonware".
Telltale is bust so the rights to the game must still exist, so why would the games be removed instead of giving its proceeds to whoever owns the rights?
Someone from the company, obviously. Or whoever bought its liquidated assets. IPs don't just vanish when you go bankrupt.
I will admit there's the added issue of the licensing for things like Sam & Max, Evil Dead, etc, but the general point remains. Abandonware should not be allowed to happen in the first place no matter what happens.
