Eventually, they will feel confident and call with a Q and 10 while you have an A and J or something. Seeing the flop and then the turn, if you only have a high card and they are still betting instead of checking, folding is probably best.
There will be a time when you get to the river and you have a three of a kind or two pairs. Going all in is usually the best bet to either win it all or scare them to fold. But of course this doesn't always work (it's gambling, right?). I have lost all-ins and have been able to climb back up doing the strat I've explained above and win.
I usually don't bluff because I feel the odds are against you. You're just praying for a random pair when you see the flop in that case.
If the AI is still betting on the river while you have a single pair, folding is probably best even if it's the high pair. Slow and steady wins the race.
