Game stops responding

The game just randomly stops responding when I try to start a match or change a setting. I can get to the main menu but beyond that, it just crashes. Anyone else having this problem? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but that didn't help.

Doesn't help at all. The game runs until the main menu but crashes when I try to go free battle or story mode.

Restart your PC and try something like 800x600 windowed mode, supersampling off, vsync off.
You can also try reinstalling the redists from "_CommonRedist" folder.
Or if you have gamepad unplug it, then try it agan. I read that someone had issues because of his gamepad.

Same problem here. I was playing all day yesterday, then suddenly it just doesnt respond when I go to free battle or story..

Someone posted that the problem was caused by a sound card, I'm not sure if we have the same cause for the problem but after doing something on the sound card's settings, it fixed it. Just turned off the GX mode and everything went normal. I can normally play the game now. If youre using the same sound card this might help you.

i've the same problem and just at 2 moment. when shikamaru does his secret attack and at the end of the fight against madara.

Doesn't seem much same as my problem, my problem was the game stops responding when I try to play free battle or story mode and or save something on the settings. Seems like yours crashes at a certain point on the game but was able to play.

same here....just bought it....i haven't had chance to play past main menu....once i clicked new game....it just not responding with black screen....

help2345.....btw how to disable GX on sound card settings?

Open your sound card control panel and you should see it on the bottom right. If the "GX" button is highlighted green, it means its active. Deactivating it fixed my problem.

Same thing happened to me I verified integrity of the game (google it if you don't know how) and 4 files were messed up. After fixing those started up in any graphic setting I wanted.

i have found a fix
my pc doesn't have a built in speaker so i sue earphones and it worked perfrectly but then when i was on disocrd with someone it wasnt working eg when i tried to play story mode or free battle so i closed naruto then put my earphones in then opened naruto and it worked i think it has something to do with the sound card options
