Well, the correct spelling is -ナルト- 疾風伝, but if you want to translate it it would become: Naruto Shippūden, which on databases and storage engines look like "Naruto Shippuden".

It's not a translation, it's a romanization, it's not perfect, as the roman alphabet can't 100% accurately portray all japanese sounds. The line over the U, may mean you hold that U sound twice as long as a regular U, but I don't think it romanizes to double Us. Should I also be the jerk and say "nice try though"?

Yeah, that actually made sense. They skipped the rest of the games, so giving it its Japanese title would have confused everybody.
