Sound effects have crackling
such as the sound when you click on a option or so, there is crackling.

This does not happen in other game. Is there a way to change the sample of the sound?

Not that it makes much a of difference but im running it on a Creative SB X-FI via optical to my logitceh z-5500 speakers.

Im not getting this crackling effect on any other game, and it just seems to be the sound effects

Same problem here. Sound is way too loud and crackling = unplayable

Hey. Typically if there is crackling or other sound problems, especially on ports, you want to switch sound output settings. I run it analog on heaphones and the first thing I did is set it down to 44100Hz studio quality. It fixed my problems. I just use onboard sound from my motherboard. Hope that helps.

my headphones seem to work with no crackling, and when i tried to emulate the same settings as my headphones for my sound card it still happened.

Im starting to think this port does not support a high res sound such as LIVE and DTS, im gonna try it on analog and on low quality sound

na nothing i do fixes it besides switching the sound from the sound card to the headphones.... but its not ideal to play it on headphones.....

Ive tried updating the Sound blaster drivers and all but still no luck

Yep. Using Soundblaster XFi Titanuim going digital-out to my amp and I get crackling.

ive found out Soundblaster cards have a problem with this game, and a few very selected others.

Untill the developers fix this (its a game developer issue not hardware) we are gonna have to live with it.

As for now i have switched to using my onboard soundcard Sumprefx IV on my Maximus V Formular. Using the digital out on that instead and it it seems to of eliminated all but a very rare occasion of crackling.

Switching back to youre onboard sound card for this game is the way to go unfourtunally, untill they fix it

I hope that the developer will fix this but I think they never will...
