Game crash on startup

My game crashes on startup [APPCRASH] as soon as I click the play button. The game window appears then i get the crash instantly. I have tried all the graphics options in the game. I have done every possible fix I've seen so far which includes: Change graphic driver settings in panel, install/reinstall DirectX/net4.0 from Naruto installers etc, updated graphic drivers, changed/tried admin privileges, used command lines in game properties, redownloaded game, verified files, disabled HD realtek sound, tried all compatible options, Disabled Catalyst Control center. I have run out of ideas to try get it to play and the devs haven't said about any upcoming patch so I don't think ill be able to play this game for months. I contacted them and they said they are working on the issues but no specific date for patch and that these issues are only a problem for the small minority. That was a week ago.

Any clues for a potential fix would be of great help thanks

Windows 7 64bit
ASUS Z87 PRO Motherboard
Intel Haswell I7 3.5ghz
AMD Radeon 7970 3ghz Sapphire
Chronos 220gb SSD
16Gb DDR3 kingston ram
Razer blackwidow keyboard
Roccat Kone-XtD mouse
Asus PCE-N15 11n Wireless Card
I dont have any sound card (default realtek HD audio)

Same issue, i believe its from having a pretty recent graphics card. I have gtx770, same cpu, same motherboard. No word from devs about a fix, i'm thinking of asking for a refund.

similar spec here, slightly older but with gtx650 card and running xp. The games not even starting up for me either

After SOOOO MANY MANY MAAANNY ATTEMPTS to fix this appcrash i finally got it working xD xD ... suddenly i though to do a RTC RAM reset... because i found 5-6 people on the net with the same problem and i noticed that every one that happens to have this problem has a pretty powerful PC.. 16gigs of ram or i7 4770k or something similar..
So i thought if its hardware issue...a faulty memory delivered to the CPU...
Before that i tried the following:
around 20 fresh installs and every possible torrent i found out on the net, patches/versions, visual c++ libraries installing, directX different GPU drivers (including hacked, modified as well).. different cracks... different install directories i even tried replacing my ram sticks. installed it on different hard drives/ssd drives.. i literally tried everything that was on the internet out there and everything i could possibly think off.. after a week living with this nightmare.. finally i am able to play the game :)))

The fix!: RTC RAM reset (google it how to do it) if you happen to run into this
VERY ANNOYING error..

OMFG. DUDEEEEE. This FIXED MY ISSUES! OMFG I TRIED SO MANY THINGS!! THANKS SO FRIGGIN MUCH MAN!

I'm on windows 10, however, I have similar components as yours. 16Gig Ram, i4770k, r9 290, z87 Asus Maximus Formula MB.

I think this answer will definitely help out MANY people who just cant seem to get it fixed with the other solutions. We should like...STICKY this or something lol. Or BUMP the HELL out of it!

EDIT: For me, instead of clearing my RTC RAM, I just loaded the default settings into BIOS and then it worked.!
