Unlocked characters don't show up?

Hello,

I am new to this so please bare with me.

I am playing through story mode for the first time and I have reached a bit after the fight between sasuke and danzo.

And there have been a few characters that I have unlocked (The ninjas working for the Raikage, the ninjas working for Mizukage and the ninjas working for Danzo). At least I have gotten notes about it on screen.

However, when I try to choose them in the versus modes they don't show in the characters select screen??

Please help? Why am I having this problem?

They are most likely support characters. You can´t play as them.

Oh? How do I choose them as support characters then?
I mean, they aren't even visible in the character select screen?

I figured it out! So for anyone else wondering the same as me:

Yes they are support characters meaning they only become "visible" when you already choose a character and you are about to choose your support characters.

Too bad though I really wanted some of them as playable. Well well what to do, what to do...
