Keyboard disabled?!

Quite keen to get started on the game but... I was going to give it a shot without a controller and try to be all pro with a keyboard (lol), but all of the buttons in the keyboard settings say 'disabled'...? I can't get them to set to anything so I can't press any buttons in-game. :P
Anyone had the same problem and fixed it by any chance? I'd rather not have to go out and buy a controller - especially when that means waiting until the weekend to play [what everyone keeps saying is] an awesome game. D:

The option "Keyboard" is in the end. you'll have to edit the keys though.

i tried keyboard a few times its not worth playing with it

If you have good keyboard settings then you can play. i used to play until this stupid error came and i used to do more than fine.

I might not have explained clearly enough - but I am in the keyboard option and every key: start, back, x, y etc. - they all say "disabled" in parentheses in red text.

Good :) I do intend to give it a decent shot with the keyboard before lashing out and buying a controller - once I get the darn controls sorted.

It's worth buying a controller, I somehow guess I sold my old PS3 one but I got a 360 controller with a PC adapter included on Amazon for under 30 dollars and it works great. Came in 3 days and was worth it. I would go through the story while waiting to unlock characters for online play once you get your controller.

When you're at the keyboard settings, It's suppose to say disabled. Click on the word Disabled for the button you want to assign a Key to and it will light up that button on the controller image. All you do then is hit the Key on your keyboard that you want that button to be assigned to and it should assign it.
