Controls?

Can someone explain the controls for this game to me? The prompts look like it calls for an xbox controller but I wasn't aware when I purchased the PC version it wouldn't be made for PC...I have the game open and it's not responding to anything I press on my keyboard...

all the buttons are compatiable with the keyboard. If you open up the game and go to "controller settings." You will notice the keyboard setting and then you can look at all the buttons that corrospond with each other. I do suggest getting a gamepad for the best experience for this game. If this peaks your interest, you can get an Afterglow xbox 360 controller for $30, which most games with a compatiability with controllers will recognize (this means no hassle for you in plugging in each button).

Just get a wired xbox 360 controller. However I prefer ps3/ps4 controller just because the buttons are softer to push and analogs are symmetrical.

yeah. I would of got a ps4 controller, but it is a hassle to deal with.

Ugh, purchased this on PC because my 360 was broken and I traded it in. So when I open the game at the start menu, it should be responding if I press spacebar, enter, etc? Right now it isn't so I can't access any in game menus...

it is right before you get "inside the geme" (meaning you click the desktop icon and a small window should pop up. BEFORE you press play, you should see a controller settings button)

Just grab any wired controller and your set. Im using a ps3 controller without a problem

Get an Xbox controller, hurts your hands if you use the usual keyboard mapping

I have a Logitech controller that looks and feels like a PS3 controller. Works fine and it even automaps controls for me in game. Didnt have to make any modifcations.
