Upgrades cost essence which free's essence? Have not made it that far yet but interesting. Kind of wish they kept it the way it used to be but meh guess that works.
I suppose that you could always just bring the main campaign up, in the editor, and lower the Essence costs to be able to cyber up your whole body.
Was not sure if it was like the gens version with upgrades costing the same amount of essence + stacking which consumes it quicker like dermal plating etc. Or if it was the way it was in PnP and so on since they were combining all 3 parts in some way.
It's been so long so I forgot about any of that but yes that does clear things up so thanks for that information. :)
True, but Regaining Essence from installing "higher grades".. the whole Essence Slot idea, is a 3rd Edition "optional" rule.
It makes sense from a Gameplay point of view and it allows Streetsams to "upgrade" instead of being stuck with the drek they started out with.
