Etiquette in Dragonfall
It seems this time round its not just security thats usefull pretty much everything seems to come up. That said security still comes up a lot. And i didnt have shadowrunner come up yet.

Has anyone been keeping a list how many times different etiquette has come up? Im curious.

Security corporation and gang come up a ton, none of the others for me unless they are hidden.

I saw at least one time each, options for Gang, Security, Corporate, Academic, Street. I am pretty sure I saw the others too, I just can't remember which ones they are.

Unlike the previous Shadowrun Returns, where from the beginning gang and Shadowrunner Etiquette is a must for easy going around.. here the security is mostly used.. And Academic one, is just for conversation matter.. only once did it impact on anything.. other times it was Agree too, but disregarded due to the ego of the people you deal with

I was going to play an Elf this time and thinking of taking Shadowrunner, Security, Corporate. All at CharGen.

I always take Shadowrunner with my charismatic character becaue it just feels proper to do so, if I was planning on getting 4 Etiquettes... Academic maybe?

It's more of a conversational pick, the Academic.. most of the Academic NPC's you meet, have their ego set to infinity.. they will agree to your Academic statements, but it won't change their minds
Non-conversational, will have, small impact.. if you want that impact, go for it :)

Security, Gang, and Corporate are a good trio to have. There's a lot of corp stuff later and the gang one pays off early.

Also, reading AURA's is good for storyline.. If I remember correctly, spellcasting and/or Coinjuring are the ones to raise it.. any of the two

I would be playing a different kind of character concept if I went Streets, Gang, Security (then pick up Corporate later?)... which would be strong RP-wise but I'm not going with that sort of character just now.

Aha I've been spoiled on this a little so I know what you are referring to. Too bad I'm not playing a mage... or have any leftover points, as it stands I can only afford rather basic Body/Quick/Ranged - Pistol.

Seems like having a high Charisma is really handy this time around. Security and Corporate have proved useful to have, but there have been a couple of occasions where it's let me use my Charisma stat specifically.

Thats good to know, since I've already sunk so much into my planned Elf's charisma.

Don't suppose you've noticed any other stats that were particularly useful in this module through 'dialogue' options?

Academic is "useful" a few times, Biotech is very useful at 4, Charisma/Will/Strength 4-6 is also great.

Definitely enjoyed the AURA reading. I would have to say that I only saw Academic a few times. Mostly just appeared when talking to the big baddie.

You can get 'Aura vision' in dialogue choices by just putting a single point into any of the magic skills apparently?

I believe, the sum of the 2 must be at certain level.. 4-6 is a good number..
You can test it out on Glory, to read her first time you talk you need 4 (try 2 and 2 or just 4 in one of the two) if I'm not mistaken

With out spoiling too much, reading Auras comes up more than few cases, in very, interesting moments :D

There are some moments where Stun Bolt (and other spells) are offered in Dialogue to KO an NPC, however this doesn't work with Stun Bolt 3? I wonder if it only works with Stun Bolt 1.

To avoid too much spoiler, I am talking about a scientist.
