New Game Trailer - New Gameplay Footage

We’ve released a new trailer showing what the new version of our game looks like. The footage reveals many new features in the game, including new physics, cities, and ships.

We have also updated all the in-game screenshots on the store page to reflect the new version. A new version of the game demo is coming soon.

Why are all the UI elements blurry.

The loading screens have crystal clear text but the in game text is blurry, it is most disconcerting.

We are preparing to release a new demo of the game. You can look forward to a completely redesigned game with lots of new features.

There are hundreds of new features. Here are some of the main ones in the works:

1) Unification of characters into one. The main character has complete freedom of movement across all planets, space, and ships.

2) Ability to land with all ships on all planets.

3) Ship interiors.

4) Complete removal of loading screens - smooth landing.

5) Refueling ships.

6) New character weapon system.

7) New entertainment options.

Demo is freezing on Steam on Linux

I am running Steam on Linux Mint and I tried to run the Demo. It runs pretty smooth through the introduction but when I arrive in the Training Center to receive training while loading next new content the screen is freezing and I have to reboot my computer....

We need a game like this, but this will not be it

I have been looking for a game exactly like this for a long time. I play Elite dangerous and I have played all of the classic space sim games starting from Elite, Privateer, the X series, freelancer, the whole list. BUT A game of this scale with the features described on the steam page is a gargantuan project. I have very little to no hope for an unknown developer finishing something like this in a polished state. There are already a lot of signs of a failed early access project.
