Other Blizzard Titles on Steam
Over the last 25 years I've bought Warcraft III 5-10 times. I would buy it yet again if it was released on Steam. Anyone else like to see more Blizzard games on Steam, even if not all of them/just the older ones? Any news about this?

Probably will not happen. Not having Blizzard games on Steam increases value of Battle. net and PC game pass. because they are owned by Microsoft now.

They added Starcraft 2 on game pass in November, Diablo 1 on game pass in January and will add Heroes of the storm on game pass in february.

It would be cool from player perspective to have Blizzard games on Steam but they dont need to put them there. It seems they focus on their own launchers / store.

If there is another round grumbling by the Federal Trade Commission, a few more games might appear on other markets. Steam itself isn't immune to being targeted either, but Microsoft is a bigger target.

But console "gamers" are not a bigger target ( for either of the two big ones Xbox/Playstation manufacturers) , as made obvious by the exclusive-games now being ported to PC more and more of them, let's hope Bloodborne & DemonSouls , all the God of War, all Uncharted ( and multiplayer add to UNcharted 4 -.- ) get ported also and The Darkness 1, Fable 2, Infamous series and so on.
Like OP mentioned if they add Starcraft 1-2 and remastered SC1 and Diablo2 + Lord Of Destruction & Diablo 2 resurrected, Diablo 3 and so on, Warcraft 3 classic reign of chaos + Frozen Throne and remaster i am buying them again just to have them on Steam. So Microsoft gamepass is more a side-dish to them money-wise and also not including the fact that a lot of people i heard get their Microsoft Gamepass from Turkey/Argentine and stuff like that cheaper lol.
For me personally and many others if it's not on Steam =no buy, exception being some Battlenet games like the classic ones mentioned that we already had bought & that we'd very much apreciate & love to see here on Steam added.
In fact a lot of people i heard like to get the " consumer-friendly" exclusivity-deal games when they are discounted heavily like Metro Exodus was pulled out of Steam store and later re-added the gold edition i also got it discounted, any other games that do this exclusivity insane stunts deserve same treatment, like others from the past did Ash VS Evil DEad the game , Predator hunting grounds, RUNE 2 , VoidTrain, Kingdom Hearts ( i think VoidTrain & KingdomHearts had biggest duration of years exclusivity) and so on. Some people i even read/heard they refuse to buy the games that were exclusive even if 80-90 % discounts and they preffer to get those games elsewhere lol, as punishment for the greedy developers and/or publishers that do exclusivity with Epic/Consoles and so on.

Look at Fable 2 it's not been ported yet we had a remastered Fable 1 and now they are remaking it again stuff like that is outrageous even if they fired Lionhead Studios that's cute they thought we don't notice. We shouldn't have to get another console or platform if we preffer the game on Steam. Especially if some are already like The Darkness 2 is on Steam while Darkness 1 not , for a long while Dragon Age + Dead Space & Mass Effect 1-2 were on Steam but the third one in the series was EA Games app only but they finally came to their senses.
Other than PC gaming i heard the biggest one that makes even more money for the developers/publishers are mobile games with in-game microtransactions and stuff like that lol.

Thanks for the replies. I would also buy Rock N Roll racing, Warcraft I+II, Diablo I, Starcraft I + II, heck might even play a little WoW on occasion, and others if they were on Steam (I've already bought them multiple times in the past). I'll likely get none of them if not on Steam. I know that's on me but 🤷‍♂️. With D4 being on Steam I do have some hope for old titles being released here too.

You sir are the problem in the gaming industry.
I'd buy Diablo 2 Resurrected to re-play it. I've played the original only once and the unisntalled because the graphics were horribly bad at the moment of release. Much worse than Ultima Online which was released 2+ years before, even worse than Diablo 1 compared to other games at release :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
