Permanent free respec?
I just started playing it (level 49 atm) and so far i can refund any or all skill without any cost. Is this respec forever free or you need to pay some sort of currency after a certain level.

It's forever free... this a "fun" game, not a penalty based sadistic game like the other one.

Plus you can even use the armory to quick-swap between builds with no cost also.

there used to be, and it was increased gradually for every respec
there was even a rare item to respec everything for free
now it seems completely free respec was an unannounced patch note, or at least i didnt see that, very welcome change

Oh good no decisions I make actually matter. Great! That's the perfect quality I like in my RPGs. Can't wait to roll XYZ character next season that will be fundamentally the same as the last time I rolled the class.

Good game.

Funny because D4 feels like going to work where D2 felt like going to the casino. Big difference.

I can tell you exactly how my character will be geared the moment I roll them in D4. It's just a matter of how quickly you do the work to get the gear. Nothing is a surprise unless you like finding the same gear you're currently using, but with bigger numbers.
That is cool right? You can try many build you want all day long.

You must be incredibly lucky. I find different gear every time. I respec according thed gear I have. Some times you go fire, other times you find constantly lightning stuff. Right now I constantly find two-handed swords on my necro. Very irritating.

That's how most people do it and it's fun to do it that way. I find a piece of gear with a nice affix and I change a few skills to take advantage of it.

THat's how you find skills you really like and make your builds around them.

There's only 3 affixes on the item and they are all the same, there's nothing to find. :happymeat:

Lol what? You find hundreds of every aspect and unique with 0 effort. How are you not finding multiples of every single item you could need? The game hands everything out like candy.

Your character should be functionally complete by level 60. After that you're chasing the same gear you currently have but with bigger numbers.
