What version of Vessel of Hatred to get?

So, I've been thoroughly enjoying Loot Reborn; I think it fixed many of the issues present in the base game by making builds far more rewarding and flexible. If Season 5 makes similar improvements (granted, I only play Eternal), I may purchase Vessel of Hatred.

The question is, is the Deluxe or Ultimate version worth getting if I play exclusively Eternal, and thus wouldn't benefit from the Battlepass token? I find Battlepasses to be FOMO incarnate and engage with them as little as possible; being able to disable them by playing Eternal is a big selling point for D4. I do want the class skins and the Inarius wings, I don't care about mounts, and I do want to get a cat pet at some point (probably by playing VoH).

If I were to just get the basic VoH and spend the difference between that and Ultimate ($70 CAD) on Platinum, then directly buy class skins from the Prophecy Store, how many classes would that be? I intend to get the extras bundle (the back item and such) as well; I already bought a set for the Druid (the lightning one) and found I had no "buyer's remorse". Assuming I keep playing the game (I've played it more than any other single MMO since quitting Runescape 3), I intend to play all 5 (6 with VoH) classes eventually.

In my opinion the only worth Versions are the standard or the ultimate Edition.
If you like cosmetics then buy the ultimate Edition.
Otherwise just get the standard Edition.

Yes, I'm aware of what each one contains. I'm wondering about the comparative value of just buying Platinum instead of getting the VoH class outfits, since I can't use the Battlepass token.

I first bought the Deluxe Edition because I wanted the new Mount before VoH starts because I like its look. Then I figured out that the Ultimate edition basically gives me 4 Battlepasses "for free" (I would buy them otherwise for the next months of playtime) and so the upgrade to Ultimate Edition didnt cost me a cent more than I would invest in this game this way or another.

This games battlepass is the best of every other battlepass that exists, also you can easily fill it up to max. As you don't do the season theme too, that quest line rewards the same rewards for each character separately, so you can farm uniques that way, though you have to fill up separately, season pass is shared, but highest character level unlocks some extra rewards there.
You can jump into the season helltide just with a lvl 1 character and kill the helltide seasonal boss with ease on 2nd difficulty. On 4th difficulty you prolly have to use the most meta build to not die against her.

I bought anyway the ultimate edition, just because of the loot reborn update they did, also the new stuff they bring with next season.

The vessel of hatred DLC if we buy that does any version come with the battlepass included? ( i already had ultimate edition D4 gift from a friend on battlenet and bought also standard one here on Steam )

The catch is that I want SOME of the perks, but others are useless to me. I want the class skins, but play exclusively Eternal and so can't use the Battlepass tokens. I'm wondering how the value compares to buying $70 CAD worth of costumes directly.

I'm not up on the skins in Eternal. Guess you can buy direct. Those upgraded versions only offer one skin. But one skin in their shop, has to be at least 20 bucks.

You can upgrade the expansion to Ultimate, just make sure you do it in the in-game shop. If you buy Ultimate directly from Steam, you'll be re-buying the whole thing at full price, the shop slashes the price.
