Base Game + Expansion (Ultimate Edition?)

I wanted to switch over from Bnet so I got the base game + expansion bundle. Is there a way to upgrade that to the ultimate edition? I saw an upgrade pack in the store but when I went back after buying the bundle it was gone.

If you bought the Ultimate Edition on Bnet it carries over because it's tied to your account.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you had the Ultimate Edition of the base game on Battle. Net and purchased the normal bundle here then you get Ultimate of the base game only and the expansion will be standard edition I think ?

I did not buy the expansion on Bnet, I bought it on steam but it was part of the bundle, so I did not have the option to choose which edition.

At the bottom of the page for the expansion it states this in fine print:
"Upgrading editions will not re-grant in-game items already unlocked on your account."

So I am hoping they add the ability to upgrade.

Do you see an upgrade option in the in-game shop? If so, then it should work that way.

No, now that I have the base version of the expansion pre-ordered, all the stuff in the in-game shop regarding the xpack has disappeared.

I am in same situation, I've raised a ticket to Blizzard asking how I could upgrade my version.

If not, saves me $50 that I was going to spend on it lol

One can only hope that they do it, otherwise I'll save myself something. In the meantime there is still time.

I assume it's only a matter of time and they will add the upgrades to Deluxe and Ultimate just like in the past, purchasable with platinum coins.

Worth noting this is only going to be good per 1 account per 1 device. If you want to play D4 other than Steam, you need to re-buy each edition despite the they use the same Bnet to play!

It's actually wonderful and really helps them take our hard earned money (for those that still work) and put it into their stockholders hands where it belongs. Long live the old crusty white men running Blizzard from their super yatchs. They know how to make games and understand the importance of our money more than we do. I am already pre-ordering the Premium Supreme Ulitimate Awesome Reborn Edition 3 times. One for console, PC (Steam) and again on PC (Bnet), going to be DOPE!

PS: Forgot to mention, the Premium Supreme Ultimate Awesome Reborn Edition does not contain Season 6 Battlepasses. You'll have to spend another $20 per device if you wanted those seasonal rewards as well. It's no biggie, just another $60 bucks!
