How can one advance time?
I really prefer to play during the day (in all games, but still sometimes do night runs), is there a way as in GTA for example to advance time?

While were at it, a way to adjust the speed would be cool. I think its about right, but love those night scenes.

yeah. when the game is not in your preferred time of day. go make a cup of tea, or a sammich. or have gummy bears races on your little brother's car windshield. come back to game. *poof* is now night/day. plus you have a sammich.

That was almost helpful, but thanks for the idea anyway lol

Fast traveling around the map seems to advance time a little every time you travel. Also, it seems to skip to the next morning every time the sun is starting to set and you do a fast travel. My problem is the exact reverse: a couple of missions require you to start them in the night, and there seems to be no way to skip time so that it's night.

The one mission I remember having to do at night .. I fast traveled there and it was night when I arrived. I kind of assumed the game just did that when you were doing a mission where nighttime was required.

I am stuck at that one side mission too! You have to "wait at the darkest hour" to do this side quest. The day/night cycle is so unpredictable and slow that you just end up doing something else.
