Max has multiple voice actors?
I've noticed that max has more than one voice actor because he just seems to change his tone in each conversation, sometimes Aussie, sometimes American.

the austrelian is a reddub over the amarican. the fans made a ♥♥♥♥♥ fit when they found out about the amarican, so the devs had to get it changed. i guess that never got completed?

I haven't noticed much. I've been to busy with what time I have had with the game so far lookinbg at how pretty it is.

Is this really true..?
Because the austrailian voice is bad. Really bad...
He sounds very awkward every time he speaks, and I have almost not gotten anywhere in this game yet, but I'm still really annoyed about it.

Yeah the Australian voice actor sounds weird. Like he's trying too hard. I wouldn't given a ♥♥♥♥ if the voice actor was jamaican honestly.

I think you have your facts mixed up.
I can't find any information anywhere that supports this.
However, I can find that it is apparently well known that the original Mad Max MOVIE was dubbed to ENGLISH.

Yes I agree. He sounds exactly like what I would sound like if I tried talking like that.
Which is not cool at all...

Nah, there's just one actor, Bren Foster.
He's just having some good and bad moments. That's why it sounds like 2 guys.

Same here, but this post gave an idea, Whatever happened clearly was a global event, so perhaps in a sequel we could experience the Mad Max perspective from other former countries point of view. Tropical islands that once went crying to Obama about rising sea levels now surrounded by vast desserts would be interesting for starters.

I hate to speak ill of someone in a profession I know next to nothing about, but honestly Bren Foster does not do a great job as VO actor in this game. Certainly not for the lead character. I mean old Maxy has never been known as the greatest elocutionist in the wasteland, and Tom Hardy's accent was just weird, but Max's spoken lines in the opening scenes (before he meets the Opus) in particular made me wince. Sorry to Mr Foster, but his VO work was a bit rubbish IMO. Uneven, for certain. I actually quite liked his chats with Griffa but other parts...

Question: to my ears, Max's voice sounds very different when he tells Hope his name. I haven't sat down and compared with Fury Road, but did they nick the sound bite from Hardy for this iconic line? Or is that just my imagination getting fanciful...

Oh yeah, little OT but just quickly as a MM geek - the first movie was indeed re-dubbed with American actors for the US audience. They fluffed a few of the lines and it's generally agreed by fans that the dubbed version sucks balls :) MM2 was simply titled 'The Road Warrior' in the US, since the original film was not so well known, and it was the 'archive' footage during the narration that clued many people in to the fact that it was a sequel. [/geekery]

I'm sure it's the same voice, but it seems like the voice actor isn't very good at sounding mad. For a lot of the game he's supposed to be trying to sound pissed off and intimidating and it kind of sucks, but then after a while when he starts to calm down and be a person again he sounds WAY better.

The copy I've got was in Austrailan, close to english, it might be dubbed over the original swahili.
