Lol seems not, its just weird to hear his voice deepen and competely change mid conversation.
Yeah seems like it to me.
Because the austrailian voice is bad. Really bad...
He sounds very awkward every time he speaks, and I have almost not gotten anywhere in this game yet, but I'm still really annoyed about it.
I can't find any information anywhere that supports this.
However, I can find that it is apparently well known that the original Mad Max MOVIE was dubbed to ENGLISH.
Which is not cool at all...
He's just having some good and bad moments. That's why it sounds like 2 guys.
Same here, but this post gave an idea, Whatever happened clearly was a global event, so perhaps in a sequel we could experience the Mad Max perspective from other former countries point of view. Tropical islands that once went crying to Obama about rising sea levels now surrounded by vast desserts would be interesting for starters.
Question: to my ears, Max's voice sounds very different when he tells Hope his name. I haven't sat down and compared with Fury Road, but did they nick the sound bite from Hardy for this iconic line? Or is that just my imagination getting fanciful...
Oh yeah, little OT but just quickly as a MM geek - the first movie was indeed re-dubbed with American actors for the US audience. They fluffed a few of the lines and it's generally agreed by fans that the dubbed version sucks balls :) MM2 was simply titled 'The Road Warrior' in the US, since the original film was not so well known, and it was the 'archive' footage during the narration that clued many people in to the fact that it was a sequel. [/geekery]
The copy I've got was in Austrailan, close to english, it might be dubbed over the original swahili.
