Game is unplayable without a map, and you can't open the map now?

Game's huge, need map to see where stuffs at, but now, I'm going to blame the update, I can't open the map at all. Tab or controller, nothing works. Tried the fixes I see here of dying or doing a cinematic, even did a story mission, but nothing works.

What? You can perfectly play the game without a map just orientating looking at your environment, infact, this is one of the features that makes this game so great.

The only way to play the game with map is to start a new game, but unfortunately it doesn't fix your old savegame, i really hope they get it fixed soon.

The fixes that do work are to pick something up in the game world or use soemthing, for some users all they need to do is pick up some scrap, some ammo etc. For me I had to climb a ladder and the map was back.

60 Hours in I can not play it because no map. Their web site is garbage. Wht the F&&& do I want a drink with their game on it when I can not even contact them because no link on page. Last game I will ever purchase from these clowns.

Wow, you are something else. I will state my opinion as I see fit. I went to their web page, and there was no way to contact them. The game's website has no link. So, as a consumer, I should have to search for a way to contact them? No, on their website, they should have a way to contact. As for your asinine explanation of who owns the game, really? I can't use map neither, someone from develop team should really check steam forum.
