Why do I need to destroy cars in order to get scrap?
This is honestly my only major complaint with the game. So many ways of finishing off an enemy car simply kill the driver and leave the car intact, why do I need to spend a minute ramming it to get my reward after its already empty? Can't the cleanup crew just salvage the whole thing for me?

At least give me the option to light the cars gas tank the same way I can light a fuel canister if nothing else, that would still be faster than just bashing into it over and over until it explodes.

Yeah I think thats a good idea aswell. I hate ramming and ramming stank gum's war parties where they have level 2 armor covers.
The thunderpoon works wonders for destroying cars armor

if only i had enough scrap to get a better thunderpoon rather than being greedy and wanting a cooler big chief.
yeah scrap can be hard to come by if you are not getting regular deposits or hunting those hauler thingys.

Oh lord no not again, please let not be something like this in game. Its all about rewarding in the end I dont want auto pickup or auto finish game for crebear please!

Do missions build strongholds they bring at least 300 scrap and storm avg 900 scrap. There are also trucks runing around carrying scrap which yeilds lots if you bring back to your stronghold. As you upgrade your car one good ram is enough to b.low themup, hit where the red gaz tank sits

The ability to salvage a whole car instead of having to ram it till it explodes first is a realism feature, not a carebear feature.

Ive yet to get my V-8, and only Jeet's terrortory is totally war boy free, but I'm swimming in scrap, I don't bother with defeated cars if driverless, unless it needss added to the vehicle collection. For all the hostility, I was surprised you could just stroll right into gastown....

I totally agree. If you find/take a car and drive it to a stronghold then you should get more scrap from it as:
1. It is a complete car body, not destroyed beyond recognition.
2. As chumbucket is such good blackfinger, he would probably like to have that whole carbody to make more scrap from it. (When you blow up a car you will only find about two small peices of scrap - Why not scrap the whole car)
3. This mechanic will make it useful to save cars instead of blowing them up and leave only e.s. a crankshaft.

We are sorry we havent consulted you before development phase, in the future we will ensure to put in requirements from you and only you so the game can be made for you.

Another thought, more intact vehicles brought back should mean more freindly wastelanders driving around, I tried 8 times bringing an empty car over for the water travelers after giving them a drink, I tried to give them a car but they wouldnt take it.

That was an interesting thought.

We want to again thank you for your service defending our fragile egos from user feedback. Without your continued effort to be a giant jerk to anyone in the community who doesn't uncoditionally love our work we would have surely given up by now.

thank you.

That doesn't appear to be what OP is actually saying. He seems to be saying either let him blow it up in one go without wasting precious time or resources...or have the game realise that an empty but intact car is useless and therefore ideal for the clear up crew to sweep it up as scrap.

Not sure I agree with either, but could be convinced on at least lighting the fuel tank...
