About Hope and Glory

Does anyone else think that they are both manipulative ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? In the world where strong thrive on weak what could do a woman? The only thing she can do is to find a strong man to protect her.
All that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about being a family and being together from Hope. Whats in it for him? She would recieve protection, provision and Max would recieve some old and ugly ♥♥♥♥♥ who has a child wich you have to provide too.
And even Glory saying "daddy" and giving him a globe for me seems like a very thought-out move on their side.
And all that Max does is about doing its "fair", evening score, not a personal vengeance for their death. He didnt care alot about them and he was right in that perspective.
From the moment you meet Hope and Glory in the cage, she gives Max information and says that she has some misterious feelings about him and stuff translates only at "i have plans for you, i will use you".

I wouldn't say they were "manipulative ♥♥♥♥♥es". They, like every single other person in Mad Max, were simply doing what they could to survive. Some people have a knack for force, others have a knack for persuasion.

I was more surprised by how Glory was drawn. The face of that little girl belongs to a forty year old woman. What happened there?

The two characters were an obvious opportunity for Max to have a family again, etc. SPOILER ALERT: By refusing to help them anymore than necessary, he lost again.

Poor Max. Needs a sequel.

He needs to at least learn the value of an Ally, he turned his back on the Gyro captain from the Road Warrior, Chum for his flaws was an expert mechanic and pretty good with Harpoon and thunderpoon, I would have kept him around were it me.

Hope is a very attractive person, she would be stupid not to use that to her advantage in a post-apocalytpic wasteland. Having said that, her feelings for Max do seem genuine. I believe she sees him as the reluctant knight in shining armor. A loner with the capability of permanently changing things in that part of the wasteland. Your outright hostility towards Hope and her daughter is a little disturbing, in my opinion. After all the upgrades she points out to you, what is the big deal in helping her out?
