Mission Help plz

I've been playing for a while and I wanted to upgrade my Bumper to the Two-up bump bars.
But I can't start the "Beat to quarters" mission. I go to Gutgash's stronghold and no quest marker?

Just continue main story mission. If you haven't noticed, every time you finish one main mission you get new side (wasteland) missions unlocked.

I am upto chosing a fighter for the race is that far enough?

he refused to even talk to me until i reduced the threat in his area a bit. Try that.

he refused to even talk to me until i reduced the threat in his area a bit. Try that.

I have reduced his threat to 3 or 2 i think isn't that enough?

very strange, have you done any upgrades to his base? Try talking to Hope (the slave girl, this triggers a cutsceen with Gutnash) and seeing if that helps. If that doesn't work, make sure you have compleated all wasteland missions to this point. You should be able to get a constant supply of ammo in the first area.

I was already able to get ammo, and i had accidentally talked to Hope first. i hope this helps.

Ah i found it out now i ahd to adavnce into the story to were I get Tenderloin to fight with me. Then the mission unlocked

Glad it worked for you, i'm 40 hours in, and never met this, Tenderloin.

This is a bit worrisome. I have never gotten the Beat to Quarters mission. I'm 60 hours in and up to the part where I have to pick a driver for the Great Race. I have every area at zero threat. There are no more missions on my map. I've completed all the crow races I can without having the V8. There are three salvage areas left in the Dunes that are on the map. I have no idea if I met up with this Tenderloin character yet. If I haven't, I have a pretty big map to start looking I guess. I think this mission can get bugged early on but I'm not sure how it did or how to avoid it. Seems that it works for most people.

EDIT: I did the choose the race mission and found that Tenderloin was the goal of that mission. Indeed the Beat to Quarters mission unlocked and I'm back to good.

tenderloin should be in the house next to the death run of the area 'the heights' (pink eye) sometimes, the quest marker gets covered by the death run sign on the map.
