best place to find fuel cans

So, I'm in Pink Eye's territory and I'm trying to get to all of the balloons but some of the balloons have no fuel and no fuel cans anywhere around the vicinity to refuel them. Does anyone know the best place to find fuel cans? Thanks for the help!

Auto crash sites where you destroyed a few cars, pick up the scrap and fuel cans that fly out of the exploding cars

I always carry one in the back of the Magnus Opus just in case of this exact situation. Travel to a completed Death Run, load up, drive around.

Race locations always have fuel cans.

In a pinch, the balloon waypoints also usually have a fuel can or two in them you can use. I know for a fact that the one just south of Pink Eyes's stronghold has one.

I apologise for the necro, but he was specifically asking for ways to get fuel cans for the balloon locations that don't have fuel cans .

Pretty sure every single balloon has fuel cans laying around. There is ONE where I remember having to use the one in my car, but I think it's only because I missclicked and exploded the first one.

If hard up for fuel cans, in camps in particuklar, look for the red crates that have cans next to them, MOST of the time not always, these are full, and whether full or not, they do respawn.
