Where are the rest of the camps?

So i completed the game, did all that is marked on the map but i only discovered %56 of the camps (you can check by looking at the "collectibles".

how do i find them.

Double check via ballons in each region, when your in one, look around without the binoculars, see any white dots? look at these with the binocs to mark them on the map, also within each camp, scrap, insignias to find/smash, check each cleared camp to see if its 100%'d or not. There are also hidden scrap locations in the Big Nothing that don't show even with survey projects completed, 6 playthroughs and I still haven't found em all.

The camps im talking about are Landmarks, the loot locations shown on the map don't count towards these.

There are hidden camps you have to discover alternative ways to get into.

Indeed, some of those scotus insignias were cleverly hidden, in plain sight..Hey Doc, maybe you can help with something I found near Gas Town, just east of the "walls" is a little tiny encampment with a ladder, climb this, and look due east there is an X marks the spot, Ive shot this with the shotty, thunderpooned it, tried harpooning it, set a gas can on it and lit it, set a gas can on it and sniped it, what gives? SOMETHING is obviously there.
