It takes about 19 hours for the main story, I looked it up.

I can tell you I have put 81 hours into the game, yes that is eighty-one, and I still haven't done everything. I completed the main story and have done about 90% of the side missions. I've probably also spent many hours just messing around, but still, there is an insane amount of stuff to do in the game.

I got bored around 40 hours.
The main driving motivation of the game, at least for me, was upgrading Max and his car. The story/side activities aren't great motivators in and of themselves.
Also, once you get the homing missiles, it totally ruins the combat and turns it into "press button to win."
But I really enjoyed what time I had with it, and I'm reinstalling it now to go back and play for a little bit. (turning off homing missiles)
Despite being a post apocalyptic themed game, the world and theme are very uniqe, even though it sounds like something that's been done a billion times before.

Took me 50 hours for near 100% completion, at the point I got tired of the game and skipped some of the remaining challenges. You certainly get quite a lot of bang for your buck, but I have to admit the game can becomes very monotonous after awhile.

I'm about 4.5 hours in, and I've only cleared about two regions. The map is quite large, with a lot of side activities. It does get a bit repetitive, but the game is beautiful, and the gameplay is fun.

Probably means the explosive harpoons, they'll turn and track an enemy car until hitting it.

Around 20 hours if you rush through it but if you want to collect cars then probably more than 50. A great game with great art style and acceptable character fighting mechanism.

Minor but worthy advice: don't clear regions before finishing main story. You don't want to regret like i did.

66 hours in the game to 100% everything and a good 20 hours or so wes me doing the boring grindy stuff at the end just to finish off that 100%, you can probably bring the time down to about 50 hours if you plan ahead

if you dont care about 100%ing everything you can rush through this very quickly, your probably going to fall into 1 camp or the other as theres only really 4 or 5 things to do which is repeated over and over

37 hours on main story and all missions for me! Good game for low price. I like it
