this minus the fact that in this game shadow magic is almost usless unless you play on paladin you just don't need it except for some secondary effects on some itmes sometimes very handy. light magic, risposte,dodge,and perfect block are key in this game you can play either of style you mentioned they are both good in direct proportion to how firm is the grasp you ave to the key elements of combat i said above, the more you are skilled with perfect block, risposte,and dodge the more careless you can become, and still winn fast and easy against everyone. just try to practice a bite the perfect timed block untill you are very confident with it. also tryng to memorize nememie attack pattern helps a lot becouse it gives you a hint on when to use th perfect block to mximize the fffect of risposte
