Removing the save game

Anyone know where the game save is so i can reset the game with no save data?

your steam folder\userdata\your steam number\234080

delete all files, turn steam cloud synchronization off beforehand, you can turn it back on, once you started new game and saved first time.

Thanks for this. I started playing the game years ago and forgot about it. Now I wanted to play it again from the start but the game always drops me in the middle of a random stage I was years ago.

I can't believe they couldn't put an option to start the story from the beginning. Lazy ass console ports.

Exactly the samehere, haven't played for over a year and can't remember how. How stupid is it to not have a new game option. It's getting so bad now, they want to stop you from quitting before save so you can't cheat and re do with no record of failure. I understand for mmol etc but this is single player. Why does it matter to anyone else if I don't want a record of my failed attempts.

How on Earth did an entire company leave a feature out like restarting a game? That is record-breaking stupid. That's not even a rookie mistake that is just record-breaking stupid. That's kind of like building the fastest car in the world but forgetting that you need brakes.

Not record breaking, unfortunately. In one of the older Assassin's Creed games you have to edit the Windows register if you want to start the game anew.
