Logitech rumblepad 2 doesn't work

Hi all,

I began playing the game with the keyboard since the stone titan, then I installed the drivers of my old Logitech rumblepad 2 but it doesn't work, the game doesn't recognize it. I installed the Logitech Profiler software and in there I am able to select the .exe of the game and also to launch the game but then I can't bind the keys to the pad. Anyone knows how to "activate" the pad for Castevlania?

The game natively supports the 360 controller so try using this utility which emulates the 360 controller: https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/

Thanks for your answer. I have tried it and doesn't work either, so I'm making an investment buying the xb360 controller for pc for this game and incoming ones.

(Sorry for bad English) Same сrар!!! Very disappointed. Keyboard controls are helpless, no-xinput gamepads are dіtсhеd (incl. my wired Rumblepad 2), x360ce won't make any better. I'm in sorrow, feeling like an octopus with keyboard controls, compelled to lower difficulty.

Did you run the x360ce in the correct folder ?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\CastlevaniaLoS\bin
where the exe is

manosschenker, yes, run from there. It recognizes my gamepad, downloads profile, letting me to reconfigure buttons manually, generates ini. All is working on x360ce side. I've tried to change hook mode and vary xinput*.dll names without any luck. I've used x360ce formerly and it worked, but not now. I was too upset to investigate further. I'll try on this later, cases with working x360ce are giving me some hope.

Believe me, I'm using a cheap "dragonrise" gamepad and everything works with x360ce ... make sure you have the updated version with automatic hooks as its the only way the rumble works for me.

Here, try using my own x360ce files. I use this on all my games to support my gamepad, just make sure to reconfigure you buttons with the x360ce.exe

Hi all, I finally got my xb360 controller for pc and I can assure that it has been the best purchase of my life. I beated Castlevania, dark souls... and I only had to plug in the controller for it to start working.

I've got it work!!! Key element is to use 32 bit libraries, NOT the 64 ones, no matter which OS you have. Now gamepad works, even with vibration. I'm finally glad!

Biømachine, it is good, that 360's gamepad supported by Castlevania w/o additional software layer (i.e. x360ce), the bad side is personal... well, i don't like how it looks. But thanks to x360ce, wide variety of gamepads being supported, hurray!

Maybe you guys can help me... I can't seem to get my PS1, PS2 or my Saitek Rumble force to work in conjunction with x360ce. I run the set up from the right folder, everything go smoothly and at start up, the game recognizes (heard the 'ping' at start up, xbox 360 control scheme displayed under the controller tab) and even let me use the 'a' button to scroll thru the introduction, but when I get to the actual game, the controller doesn't do a thing. Help anyone? The PS1 controller works flawlessly with Castlevanis lords of shadow - mirror of fate. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
