Second titan / Crow stone throwing helper (MACRO + SOLUTION)
It's doable with keyboard. Did it myself. But reading all the flustration you may consider try this simple AutoHotKey macro (we are on PC afterall :) ):

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/lhp5jcixydtx9sn/castlevania.ahk?dl=1

and AutoHotKey needed for running:

http://www.autohotkey.com/

Install:
Install it and then run downloaded .ahk file. If it's running you will see green H icon in traybar. It reacts on F1 by default (change it in ahk file to whatever you want).

Testing:
You can test it in any windows textbox (browser adressbar for example and it should write "wasdw"). If you press that in Castlevania Gabriel should do one rotation around. If he does, just press F1 (can be hold during move) after rock is grabbed and arrows are displayed.

And don't forget to exit that green icon when it is not needed anymore.

Edit:
SOLUTION / Macro not working:
Thanks to great people here and their feedback we've pinpointed the cause of the problem.

It's FPS. If it's low (and it may be hard to notice) game doesn't register keys correctly (manual and macro, but macro has much greater chance to succeed). Especially during second titan there is pretty big FPS drop when the rock is close and is glowing (which is the moment you need FPS the most).

So.. just for this fight lower whatever you can, turn off the music and try it again manually few times.

Wow, you wrote a program to play the game for you. That's...uh...that sure is something.

sometimes I wonder.. why do we have all the walkthroughs and youtube videos on the net..

and this is one of the worst part of this game, clearly not designed for PC, the challenge DOESN'T lie in doing it on keyboard. And unlike you I prefer people to get over it instead of ragequiting the game.

even when i press f1 the macro doesnt start. what do i do?

1) you have green H in traybar?
2) does it work in windows?
3) does gabriel spin off (anywhere, not just in titan fight)?

and you can try change that shortcut to something else, it could interfere with some other program. Also it pretty much expects WASD as primary movement controls ofc.

People criticizing the use of this probably have never tried throwing them back with the keyboard. To the OP, good job being a decent human being.

heh i actualy played the darn titan on controler and still cursed it I can only imagine how hard and confusing this titan would be on the k/m combo I never thought why they didnt made some "normal way" for counter clockwise stick movement! really suprised that they didnt payed attention on this! I do hope it will get patched!

The main problem of all such ports is that the controls are universal in ALL game. So when you map action1 on E and action2 on Q, in QTE, puzzles, combat, menu, etc you will have to press it if that action was programmed there initially. It's because the game uses only controller mapped keys internally and they are limited and universal by itself whatever you do in game.
Good ports have context-based controls with mouse and kb, but still it requires for the devs to practically invent the combat and action system from scratch. And who said the porting is easy? The easy way is to just port the engine and slap a controller emulator over it, like we have in LOS. Cheaper and easier than hiring a team of programmers to alter game mechanics.
That's basically what is plaguing such ports. In case of Dark Souls the devs said that they have no experience in porting games, but they at least tried.

Speaking about clockwise movements, it can be done with a mouse (yeah!), but alas, the devs just don't care or rather it seems they didn't play the ported game at all.

Since I know people are (justifiably!) wary of downloading stuff from unknown sources, I went ahead and checked it for y'all. The script does exactly what it say it does- download with confidence.

This is the awesome thing about PC gaming- good samaritans can spend five minutes to make fixes that save everyone tons of frustration. Nice work OP.
I don't get all the negative comments towards the OP. He did a great job on helping kb/mouse people on passin a particular annoying qte and there you are whining about "games playing themselves". Seriously? I use my gamepad to play slasher/action games let alone console ports and that's because I know that playing them with kb/mouse can be a pain, especially qte segments and that guy just eased that pain, so props to you OP! :D:

Hi, I really thank you for sharing your solution with other players... but it doesn't work with me D: if you have time, can you help me? I explain you: your macro works (when pressing F1, Gabriel runs in circle) but when I take the rock it doesn't work... I tried many many times with different timings, but it still doesn't throw the rock back... What do you think about it? Thank you if you will help me :D

Hi. I used a timing of 10 and I held down the button starting just as I grabbed the rock. Keep trying: there is a life beyond the titan!
