Dodge mod in the Xbox 360 controller?
I played LoS first in PS3 in 2010 and one thing that I've never understood is the reason why the dodge is done with L2 (LT) + left stick.

The game uses the same static camera mechanic as God of War, which uses the right stick to dodge, making this command easier, faster and simpler.

I tought that maybe (and that's a "minimal maybe") in the PC version of LoS we would have the option to costumize controls or that Konami would change the control scheme. But neither happened.

And that makes me question: it's possible to mod the game? Does someone intend to do this or already tried?

Hmmm... I initially thought no, but maybe with a utility you could set up a macro to press left trigger plus left stick direction when you move the right stick in a particular direction. Trying to recall if the right stick is actually used for anything in this game.

Edit: Trying it with xpadder now.

Hmm, that's an option. I just don't remember any utility that can do such a thing.

And about the right stick, I think nothing uses it in the game (and this is the reason why I always found the dodge being unnecessarily "complicated")

I got it to work in xpadder by binding the right stick to the keyboard controls (wasd + I). You dont need to bind or touch any of the other controls. Works quite well :) Thankfully you can use either gamepad or keyboard at the same time during the game or it wouldnt work in xpadder.

I will in an hour or so after dinner. To be honest, I tried the right stick dodge method for a bit but ended up going back to the left trigger as it seemed more natural. As you dont have to move your right thumb with the left trigger dodge, its quicker to press a button do an attack after the dodge.

argree with op it's stupid design. The biggest issue of this isn't the fact that you have to press another button to dodge, but that button is the block button! It's annoying as hell that while I just simply want to block or parry, but he start dodging instead
