Can't Press ENTER on title screen
Hello Community,

I really hope that anyone can help me with my problem: When I start Castlevania-LOS Ultimate edition everything seems fine, but when it comes to the title screen, where the book is displayed, I can't press ENTER to start game. Also no other key is working... I contacted Steam and Konami Customer support, but they are also not able to help me yet. I tried to update every driver and with the Windows 7 virtual keyboard (Osk) there is still no way to Enter the game. One more thing: The first displayed intro-scenes (flying bat and Konami-Logo) I can skip with the ENTER button, so it seems to work fine till start screen appears.

Please help me to finally enjoy this game...

I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried running as Admin and in various compatibility modes and nothing works, except Alt+F4.

I had a similar issue with the demo. I was able to get the game to start, but once I was actually in the game the game no longer responded to any of the keyboard buttons. I even tried to get the steam in game overlay to come up and it wouldn't, alt tab similarly didn't work, alt f4 also did not work, ctrl alt del did work but once the task manager was started it put the game in the foreground again and so I was unable to use it to close the game. I finally just restarted my computer. Hopefully someone will respond as to what the issue is cause I too would like to see if this game is any good.

^ I had exactly the same issue playing on a laptop with Intel HD. It's too bad, the framerate looked playable otherwise.

I finally got it to run!

I started having a similar issue with Grim Dawn (not responding to mouse clicks) and after fiddling around with permissions and compatibilty I just ran it from the .exe file instead of going back to my shortcut on the desktop. When I did I got a prompt from Comodo whether to allow it to run. I told it yes and to remember that decision and the problem went away. I tried the same thing with Castlevania and that resolved this problem as well.

Either the prompt wasn't being triggered when running through Steam or I wasn't seeing it so the program didn't have all the permissions it needed.
