Clockwork Tower - Electric Climb

Anyone having trouble getting past this part? Any tips? I am trying to use the chain to climb up and jump off before the first electric node that is always on, but I cannot get past it after 50 tries. Help.

Also there are a few parts in this game that are frustratingly buggy. Its really freaking annoying.

You know how you propel (jump) backwards while chained to the wall? Do it a second time and gabriel jumps further back. As you're doing the second jump, move upwards. You can make it past the first part this way.

it's easy, you probably are just doing the jump wit wrong timing OR (and this will make the jump almost impossible) you are bounging of the wall jusnt once before you climb. wath i mean by that is that you want to increase the distance between the wall and you ( on the spot) befoure you go up or down. you have to jump multiple times ( on the spot) so you can increase the distance and when it's good enough just pres up or down on the stick. all that remainb it's really only good timing
